Scheint so, dass Lisicki wohl ziemlich stark war und in Wimbledon-Form gespielt hat

Dinah morgen das erste Match auf Althea Gibson und so wie es aussieht gibt es sogar einen Stream , auch wenn ran.de wohl erst am Donnerstag in die Übertragung einsteigt.

Und die zuletzt immer wieder von Verletzungen und Krankheiten gebeutelte Lisicki war einfach nur glücklich. "Der Titel in Miami gibt mir viel Selbstvertrauen, auch in meine eigenen Schläge. Es läuft jetzt einfach wieder, und das ist wirklich wichtig für mich", sagte die 24-Jährige. Nur dreimal hat Lisicki seit ihrem großen Erfolg in Wimbledon im Juli 2013 mehr als zwei Einzel-Partien in einem Turnier gewonnen.

Trainerin Hingis war vollauf zufrieden mit ihrem Schützling. "Ich musste den Ball nur im Spiel halten. Sabine hat dann den Rest gemacht. Das war richtig gut", lobte die fünfmalige Grand-Slam-Siegerin. Lisicki hat dafür auch eine Erklärung. "Ich liebe einfach die Momente, wo es wirklich drauf ankommt. Dafür spiele ich Tennis. Am Ende habe ich noch mal einen Gang hochgefahren. Ich wollte heute unbedingt gewinnen", meinte sie nach ihrem dritten Doppel-Titel auf der WTA-Tour: "Der Fokus ist aber immer aufs Einzel gerichtet."

Lisicki geht in dieser Woche wie auch Andrea Petkovic (Darmstadt), Julia Görges (Bad Oldesloe) und Dinah Pfizenmaier (Bochum) beim Sandplatz-Turnier in Charleston/South Carolina an den Start. Dort hatte sie 2009 ihren ersten Turniererfolg gefeiert. "Es wird schwer, direkt auf Asche zu spielen. Aber ich habe jetzt viel Selbstvertrauen", sagte die Berlinerin.

"Ich liebe die Momente, in denen es wirklich drauf ankommt. Dafür trainiere und spiele ich. Wir waren so nah dran, ich wollte das Ding unbedingt gewinnen", sagte Lisicki. Seit Jahresbeginn wird sie von der ehemaligen Weltranglisten-Ersten betreut, die in ihrer Karriere fünf Einzel- sowie neun Doppeltitel bei Grand Slams gewann.

Doch wenn beide gemeinsam auf dem Tennisplatz stehen, sind die Hierarchien flach. "Wir coachen uns gegenseitig", sagten beide. Vor zwei Wochen endete die Doppel-Premiere im kalifornischen Indian Wells noch mit dem Erstrunden-Aus. Sie habe anschließend überlegt, ob sie sich das weiterhin antun wolle, meinte Hingis.

In Miami wurden beide jedoch von Spiel zu Spiel stärker und schalteten nacheinander die Nummern sechs, fünf und zwei der Setzliste aus. "Dieser Titel gibt mir unwahrscheinlich Selbstvertrauen bei meinen Schlägen", sagte Lisicki. Trotz ihres dritten Titels im Doppel liege ihr Fokus auf dem Einzel, betonte die 24-Jährige. Aber um dort wieder besser zu werden, Matchpraxis zu bekommen, die Nervosität abzulegen und sich an Finals auf dem Centre Court zu gewöhnen, habe sie "bewusst Doppel gespielt", sagt Lisicki.

In dieser Woche tritt sie ohne ihre Trainerin beim Sandplatz-Event in Charleston an. Anschließend werden beide ihre Zusammenarbeit bei den Turnieren in Europa fortsetzen. Hingis kann sich sogar ein Doppel mit Lisicki in Wimbledon vorstellen. "Noch einmal ein Grand Slam gewinnen - warum nicht?", sagte die Schweizerin.
