But I'm trying not to be too mad since this was her first match back and all. It's definitely great to see her back healthy and fighting. I'm sure the rest will come with time.
Just so you know: I'm better than you because my fave is better than your fave. Your fave is a bitch and a shrieking BBB. Or was it pusher? Who cares. She's a classless brat anyway. But don't you dare insult my fave, idiot.
That 13 minutes game in the end of the third set was decisive for the match. Camila Giorgi had a good day on court in her own way, and Vika wasn't at the top of her game after the long break for the known reasons.
Disappointing loss, but Vika was playing exactly like before the injury layoff. There was no way she was going to get any rhythm on the grass with a brainless opponent like Camila Giorgi. Hopefully she'll be able to get back to her 2012 form at some point.
Would've been nice to get such a tough mental battle under her belt but Vika was playing just a little too safely and hesitated too much on important points. Giorgi was just having a flash in the pan day, hitting all the lines while Vika struggled to gain any rhythm. So in all honesty, I don't think this match tells us a lot.
It wasn't that bad. Sure she could have done with some more matches. But she goes into Wimbledon healthy, that's the most important thing. Providing she doesn't get a terrible draw, she should get some matches to shake off the rust at Wimbledon.
