Yeah I agree, I mean he could well be a douche but I don't see self-hating.

Camden is amusing. The last time I was there was on Halloween. Drunken fat chavs rolling around in the gutters with mounds of rubbish everywhere

I'm turning 30 in just over 4 months. I've got a lot of emotions to deal with.

The Quebec is (affectionately) known as the elephants graveyard! It's for elderly gents and their admirers - some of whom charge you could make a bit of spending money

I've met mates there a few times and it's a big, friendly pub with the occasional drag act. Just accept the clientele are of a certain age - we all get there, hopefully!

"Elderly gents and their admirers".......so kind of a fetish bar for those with daddy issues?!
I jest

Do you need to be on a guest list to get into the nightclubs?

Me too! I just said six because it seems like a somewhat substantial amount of time! My birthday's the 15th of May. When's yours?

My partner is turning 30 on the 11th of May. I'm gonna make the most of those 4 days when he's in his 30s and I'm still in my 20s!

I have a 30th bday party to go to this Saturday. They've been trickling in so far but this is the start of a torrent of them!

May 10th. Yay, party for everyone.

I go back-and-forth between absolutely hating the thought of turning 30 for stupid reasons and not caring. I realize I'm having issues with turning 30 because I'm an idiot, and then I'm better about it.

Me too. I know that I won't get over that until I've been 30 for a couple of months or so. Then I just won't even think about it anymore. Anyway, I've decided to soften the blow by going to Israel and Jordan. The main thing is to see Petra. This helps me to look forward to turning 30!

If you want to make spending money, g-a-y and ku are pretty good too. When I used to work in ku bar, we had a big prosty problem (nothing to do with me). Fire has less open prostitutes, but they do have richer patrons

Ps: 30+ men are usually much more attractive. So well done to you two.

Only way to do it. I've chosen to postpone my 30th celebrations until the end of June, when I go to Brasil for the World Cup.

Idk, either your silver fox genes start to kick in...or they don't!

Yeah, I'll have to wait until the end of June too! Better to do that though and have a proper celebration!

I'm sure Brazil will be LOADS of fun!
