After beating Meilen Tu 57 62 64, Tax lost to Dinara Safina 46 06 at the final round qualify of German Open, but fortunately due to Venus's withdrawal Tax enters to the maind draw as lucky looser. She'l play against Slovene Maja Matevzic who trains in Italy.
In the doubles she's teaming up with Silvia Farina and will face the American pair Trudi Musgrave & Abigail Spears in the opening match.
