For the rest of the season I want her to win at least 1 more title and I'll be satisfied if she makes USO SF.
Then I want her not to lose against Woz, Aga, Vika and Halep from the "top" players. I would be very pleased if she ends the year as number 1, but even if she is 2nd or 3d I don't mind so much tbh.
they initially said VIKA was gonna play for manila! andy and vika. OMG my 2 most hated players.
i knew manny p., the owner of manila mavericks had good business sense. it took this long to get maria. and i always thought someone from the 4 teams must be trying.
and i just died when i found out today!!!
Win the US Open.
Keep the shoulder healthy at all costs, even if it means pulling out of some tournaments
Just to add to this, I also want her to step up her consistency in her results. I think she's already had more pre-QF exits this year than she did in 2012 and 2013 combined No more Indian Wells or Rome-like slip-ups, please.
Probably winning the USO/YEC or even both will seal this, but who knows.
She can only gain points from here (and she still #1 in the race despite the Wimbledon flop). So I want her to gain as much as possible but also to avoid injuries (take care of the shoulder, especially).
Winning the FO was great, but I'm sure she's hungry for more. No reason to have to low expectations but also I won't take anything for granted.
1) Win one of Montreal/Cincinnati
2) At least SF of the US Open
3) Stay healthy for the remainder of the year
4) Beat Serena in the final of the Year End Championships to commence the 10 year anniversary of beating her last
