Kournikova.
Just thought I'd take this time to say that shes a complete and total waste of talent. At least give it to someone who will do something with it.

Most tennis players will never get to the level she's achieved. How is she a waste of talent?

If she was less good looking would you still have a problem with her?

ah yes, the level shes achieved....shes managed to um.....not win a tournament....ever, reached a quarterfinal, a semifinal, and a few rd. of 16s in a major...and i guess its all relative, and maybe shes only a disapointment on the expectations that've been placed on her...but c'mon, compared to most other players in the top 100..i'm sure no one is really envious of her "on-court" success

well if she was less good looking, she wouldn't be getting any attention, so we wouldn't be hearing all these things about her. hey look, believe it or not, i'm a fan..i may be a bad one, but i'm incredibly frustrated that she can never win a damn match. shes got talent, but so far shes done very little with it...thats frustrating to watch

It's very common for a player in the top 100 to never win a tournament. It's just that the media has picked her out as a target because she happens to earn more money that most other players through endorsements.

why is this comment so controversial? saying anna is wasting her talent is not derogatory in any way from my point of view. isn't it just saying anna has a lot of ability and she is not fulfilling her potential. if anything saying she has already achieved a lot means she should achieve more doesn't it. i don't understand your logic. do you think anna would be satisfied to look back on her career when it ends and see that she had a great career for a few years when she was a teenager and then sucked for the rest of it. i mean the only way she will get through this is if she faces up to the reality that serious change has to occur. everytime she or harold solamon are interviewed there is always something new being worked on, but then whenever i watch her it just more of same inexplicably poor tennis.

i started being a fan of her when she was at the bottom of her career so this string of losses isn't so new. i just don't know when she can get it all together. there was no hint of talent in her match today.
