Mara lost to Petrova today 6-3, 6-1
Still a great tournament getting through qualies and upsetting Zuluaga yesterday
Good luck in Paris!

However a good period for Mara

Brava!
Get that serve working and Mara could definitely win a few rounds with a decent draw.
Go girl!

I watched the match on ESPN2 today. Mara kicked Serena's butt in the first set, but seemed to lose her confidence in the second and third and made a lot of unforced errors and several double faults. If she played the way she did in the first, she could have won the match. Nevertheless, it was a great showing for her.
