Thumbs down Expected end of journey!

From Amata Cup Grade 1 Junior Championship in Thailand, 2 girls' players only reached up to 2nd round in singles. The results are:

1st round:
Septi Mende d Pattanaporn Kamjan (THA/LL) 62 61
Maya Rosa d Tina Schmassmann (SUI) 61 75

2nd round:
Montinee Tangphong (THA/10) d Septi Mende 62 67(2) 61
Good fight by Septi against number one Thai player!
Zsuszanna Babos (HUN/2) d Maya Rosa 60 61
Babos simply outclassed erratic Maya!

At least, good to know Indonesian girls are playing Grade 1 tournament!

Thumbs down Another joke of TV sportnews

SCTV sport news this morning made me laugh! They reported Tarakan Cup Tennis Tornament and they showed Wukirasih Sawondari played on court...They said that Suwandi, Febi Widhianto & Yayuk Basuki are competing here...LOL...stupid reporter...these three are there for exhibition! And then, they said that for women's players, there are Liza Andriyani and Nesa Artha...Gee, Nesa is a boy! Poor information!

Smile Self-funded junior players!

6 players who were selected from 14 yo national selection - boys: Agung Bagus Dewantoro (Central Java), Fendi Gunawan (West Java), Christopher Rungkat (Jakarta); girls: Mia Sacca (Yogyakarta), Lutfiana AB (Central Java), Vivien Silfany (South Sumatra) are all leaving for Korat, Thailand for 14 yo East Asian Championship which is also an event for 14 yo Asian Team for European Tour's selection. They are all self-funded and shame on PELTI (Indonesian Lawn Tennis Association) for not providing any financial assistance!

Cool What a lucky win!

From Amata Cup Grade 1 in Thailand, Septi Mende/Maya Rosa won the doubles' title without playing aka walk over Zsuszanna Babos/Nikola Frankova (HUN/CZE). It is not a nice way to win actually, but congrats for second title for both of you this year! Septi's double rank will break into top 50!
