Arrow 16 yo National Selection

PELTI has 16 yo national selection for boys and girls. This event is being held at "Gelora Bung Karno" Tennis Center, Senayan, Jakarta and it was started today until Sunday, March 23, 2003. The boys are going to compete for 2 slots as national team for Davis Cup Junior which will be held late April in Jakarta. One player is in the team already, he is Sunu Wahyu Trijati - ITF 79. While the girls are competing for 3 slots as national team for Fed Cup Junior which will be held in Kuala Lumpur.

Boys' entries:
1. Anthony Tan (Jakarta)
2. Sandy Purnomo (Jakarta)
3. Ayrton Wibowo (Jakarta) - the only son of former national players/couple - Tintus Arianto Wibowo and Suzanna Anggarkusuma (Suzanna is now coaching Wynne Prakusya)
4. Seno Hartono (Bandung, West Java)
5. Alvin Putra Kurniawan (Jakarta)
6. M Faisal Aidil (Balikpapan, East Kalimantan)

* Actually, Elbert Sie of Bandung was supposed to be here, but his mother, Lusi, is currently having serious illness, so he could not make it. Personally, I know Elbert's mom, she is very sweet lady and I pray for her speedy recovery.

1st day results:
Anthony Tan d. Seno Hartono 61 61
Anthony Tan d. Alvin Putra Kurniawan 60 60
Sandy Purnomo d. Ayrton Wibowo 64 60
Sandy Purnomo d. M Faisal Aidil 64 64
Ayrton Wibowo d. Seno Hartono 61 75
M Faisal Aidil d. Alvin Putra Kurniawan 63 64

Girls' entries:
1. Denise Harijanto (Jakarta)
2. Lavinia Tananta (Semarang, Central Java)
3. Ayu Fani Damayanti (Denpasar, Bali)
4. Golda Rubina (Jakarta)
5. Joana Febri Andriani (Palembang, South Sumatra)
6. Dian Mayasari (Tulungagung, East Java)
7. Nancy Metriya (Denpasar, Bali)

1st day results:
Lavinia Tananta d. Denise Harijanto 62 62
Lavinia Tananta d. Dian Mayasari 57 63 75
Ayu Fani Damayanti d. Joana Febri Andriani 64 62
Ayu Fani Damayanti d. Golda Rubina 60 61
Denise Harijanto d. Nancy Metriya 63 61
Joana Febri Andriani d. Golda Rubina 63 63
Dian Mayasari d. Nancy Metriya 61 61

My picks would be: Ayu Fani Damayanti, Lavinia Tananta & Joana Febri! Most of these boys and girls have been out of school since they have played in different tourneys in the last 4-5 weeks! Especially Ayu, Joana, Denise, Golda and Nancy!

I remember Paradorn once said he liked Chinese-looking girls. Too bad Wynne didn't feel the same way about him.

Angie also once said she doesn't want a boyfriend until she reaches Top 10...

There are besides some stories that claim he always gave back the money he had borrowed .
