Re: Indonesian tennis

Lu/Xu def. Basuki/Luzhanska 67 62 107. yayuk and tetiana played a good first set, but in the second set, yayuk was broken twice. in the decider, they were already leading 4-1 but couldn't keep it up. all in all they just made a few too many unforced errors and dind't win the important points. but yayuk played some nice points and she still got that great touch. and she looked really fit and in great shape. hope she keeps playing and that she wins some matches next time!

Amazing race by qualifier Tami Grende in Malacca Grade 4

R32 d. Tanaporn Thongsing 67(2) 61 60 in 3 hours
R16 d. (4) Anna Clarice Patrimonio (PHI) 17 yo 62 61 - Patrimonio did not shake Tami's hand in the end
QF d. (6) Sanae Ohta (JPN) 16 yo 61 60
SF vs (1) Aldila Sutjiadi (INA)

Tami's first ever SF - very good already in her 6th ITF tourney of her young career and first tourney of 2011

Re: Indonesian tennis

Upcoming Women's Circuit tourneys in Indonesia:

May 2-8, 2011 - Balikpapan 25K (moved from early August last year to its original schedule since its inauguration)
May 9-15, 2011 - Tarakan 10K
May 16-22, 2011 - Tanjung Selor 25K

*I have criticized many times about this kind of scheduling to Pelti - I think, it's better 10K, 25K & 25K or 25K, 25K & 10K

Sportama will stage 3 (three) new tournaments
May 23-29, 2011 - Jakarta 10K
May 30 - June 5, 2011 - Solo 10K
June 6-12, 2011 - Balikpapan 10K

July 25-31, 2011 - Jakarta 10K or Mitra Kemayoran Hospital tourney

Sportama will maintain these below:
September 26 - October 2, 2011 - Jakarta 10K
October 3-9, 2011 - Jakarta 10K

Grace & Jessy have withdrawn from Miyazaki

Wonder why they didn't follow Ayu & Vivin travelling to China

According to the Dutch coach, he wants Jessy & Grace to focus on 10Ks and see how they will fare...Yes, they withdrew Miyazaki and they will only play Kofu & Nishi-Tama 10Ks then 3x10K in Thailand then Sportama's 10Ks in Indonesia...But I think Grace will only play Sportama's 10K in Jakarta since she will have senior high school national examination after that...
