they will use ranks after Indian Wells
they did that last yr and in previous years
don't know why they didn't use this weeks ranks for IW as they could have and Should have done.

Are you 100% sure? I'm confused again, as I was about the Indian Wells seedings.
Miami qualifying starts Monday at 10:00 am. That means the qualifying draw has to be done on Sunday the latest, which means the latest rankings will be the pre-Indian Wells rankings, because the post-Indian Wells rankings won't come out until Monday.

Its all a bit confusing, but i think i have got it now.
Last yr Miami qualies started 18 March (Monday)
and they used the new 18 March rankings for the qualifying draw as well.
but Indian Wells last yr did the same as this yr (went by the previous ranks)
this yr i think it won't be possible as Indian Wells final is on a sunday plus there is another 50K event starting next monday so the new ranks won't be out.
Also it could depend on the timing of the qual draw. looks likely to take place on the sunday then they will use these current ranks.

They will use post-IW ranking for seedings, as they used post- Scottsdale rankings for IW seeding.
