I think she'll make it as far as the quarters or semis, but will be upended by either one of the Belgians, who are playing a lot better this year than last, or else by an established contender such as Mauresmo.

Actually, Daniela is capable of losing to just about anybody depending on how she is playing on that day.

I don't think Monica will win.
Lindsay ... possible. The crowd there loves her.
I would like for Kim to step up and win it.
But most of all I would like Daniela to repeat. I just don't think she will.
Bovina and Daniilidou are possibilities.

I'd put Dani in the top 3 or 4 in chances to win. But I think she will feel a lot of pressure to defend. It all depends on how she can cope with that pressure. Lindsay loves Californian hardcourts, so she'd be my #1 pick to win.
