Mauresmo withdraws
Amelie Mauresmo zal niet te zien zijn op de Proximus Diamond Games. Ze blesseerde zich tijdens de finale van de Open Gaz de France aan haar bovenbeen en besliste niet af te zakken naar het Sportpaleis van Antwerpen.
Mauresmo wil not appear on the Proximus Diamond Games. She got hurt in the final of the Open Gaz De France at her upper leg and decided not to come to the Sportpaleis of Antwerp.

It's so sad. I can't believe it. She was just coming back from an extended injury. This must be such a setback mentally as well. I know I'd be frustrated as hell!!! And I want her to secure her place as #6!!! Hopefully this is just a precaution so that she will be OK to defend her title in Dubai. Get better soon Amelie!

at least stevenson gets a decent first round. she had daniilidou in paris and was going to get mauresmo. this could be the break she needs this year. althoug she had a huge break at the oz open and blew it.
