Indeed, she's coming from a semifinal in Birmingham and she's a good grass court player.

Good luck to both sisters this week

Re: Open your umbrellas! Grass season has started!

Aga has drawn Jamie Hampton for her 1st round match

I don't know what to expect. Hampton has been playing really well recently and her win over Kvitova in RG must have given to her some confidence. And we all know how difficult their previous meetings were

I think that it's not a reason for worries. Aga doesn't have to win that match. The most important is that she should accustom to surface IMO

Re: Open your umbrellas! Grass season has started!

Well, a good run in Eastbourne would be interesting for her given the amount of points she will have to defend in Wimbledon (1400 points). And more than one match is better in order to get used to grass

Rybarikova is tough but I don't think she's consistent enough to make deep runs in back to back tournaments.

Hampton is probably the toughest qualifier Aga could've drawn. She should beat her though...

Jamie had a soft draw in the qualies; the only top 200 player she faced is LAV, who is awful on grass Aga should win.

Re: Open your umbrellas! Grass season has started!

Aga lost to Jamie, 6-7 2-6.
That tie-break That's a shame given she had a set point at 6-5* after being down 3-5, playing quite good.

Ula won against Rybarikova with a retirement (4-3 ret.).

Dammit Aga. Thankfully it wasn't a brilliant season 2nd half 2002.

"Who's your favourite WTA player to watch and why?

Probably Agnieszka Radwanska, because she plays a slightly different game, hits lobs, drop shots, moves well. She has variety and I like that. "

Re: Open your umbrellas! Grass season has started!

Both sisters landed in top half in Wimledon's draw

Serena Williams vs. Mandy Minella
Caroline Garcia vs. Jie Zheng
Kimiko Date-Krumm vs. Karina Witthoeft
Alexandra Cadantu vs. Tamira Paszek

Sabine Lisicki vs. Francesca Schiavone
Elena Vesnina vs. Andrea Hlavackova
Olga Puchkova vs. Arantxa Rus
Ana Schmiedlova vs. Samantha Stosur

Maria Kirilenko vs. Laura Robson
Mariana Duque Marino vs. Julia Goerges
Ayumi Morita vs. Marina Erakovic
Anabel Medina Garrigues vs. Shuai Peng

Romina Oprandi vs. Alison Riske
Mallory Burdette vs. Urszula Radwańska
Kaia Kanepi vs. Tara Moore
Bethanie Mattek-Sands vs. Angelique Kerber

Agnieszka Radwańska
vs. Yvonne Meusburger
Timea Babos vs. Mathilde Johannson
Heather Watson vs. Madison Keys
Monica Niculescu vs. Mona Barthel

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova vs. Tsvetana Pironkova
Barbora Zahlavova Strycova vs. Magdalena Rybarikova
Anna Tatishvili vs. Petra Martic
Karolina Pliskova vs. Nadia Petrova

Roberta Vinci vs. Chanelle Scheepers
Kristina Pliskova vs. Jana Cepelova
Maria Teresa Torro-Flor vs. Irina Begu
Maria Elena Camerin vs. Dominika Cibulkova

Klara Zakopalova vs. Daniela Hantuchova
Nina Bratchikova vs. Annika Beck
Olga Govortsova vs. Simona Halep
Michaella Krajicek vs. Na Li

Ula will probably finish on R2 while Aga could face Petrova/Pironkova in R4 and Li in QF. Keys could be dangerous too.

Re: Open your umbrellas! Grass season has started!

Quite easy draw for Aga to make SF. Meusburger, Babos and Johansson are one of the easiest players from all. Then probably Keys because Berthel is out of form. R4, Rybarikova or Pironkova I think, Petrova probably will loose in 1st round. QF should be Li but in Eastobourne she played awful...
