Most likely "upset" in rd 1?

Which seed is most likely to get knocked out in round 1? There should be lots of competitive matches throughout the draw, but the top half certainly looks tougher on paper.

Re: Most likely "upset" in rd 1?

Stosur.

She is always in danger of losing in R1

Plus she is playing CSN in R1

In all seriousness though, I don't think any of the top 10 players will lose in R1

But you never know with the WTA

As most people have said, if Shveddy can beat Woz it'd be an upset, of course. She kind of randomly did well in Stuttgart so we'll see

Also Stosur against Saurez Navarro

Despite not making many winners, she's still an agressive baseliner, and she doesn't only win matches by waiting the opponent's mistake, though she can do that at times also.

Re: Most likely "upset" in rd 1?

Sam is still injured but she'll probably beat Suarez next week cause Suarez will have a major depression after losing her 78th chance at a wta title

7. Errani (vs. U. Radwanska)
Honestly, if this happens, it means WTA is in deepest shit ever...Soo deep that it could take a decade to get out of this shit...
Not that I think highly of Errani as a "top10 player", but still, top10 losing to Ula would be beyond disgraceful...

Re: Most likely "upset" in rd 1?

It's going to be a tough one for Wozniacki, but my vote goes to MaKiri, I'd actually be much surprised to see her winning against Zakopalova after three losses in a row.
Stosur won't have any problem defeating Suarez-Navarro in my opinion.
