All crashed out first round other than Myskina, Jidkova, and Bovina

still bad... they lost matches they werre supposed to win: Dinara (yes, she was), Lena D.  , Lena L.  ...
I expected more from Maria as well...

My prediction for the rest of the tournament (if no injuries)
Bovina - quarters
Jidkova -3rd round
Myskina - 2d round
Kournikova - 2rd
Petrova - quarters
Panova - 3d round

still a very disappointing tourn indeed.
we need 2 players in week 2 to make it satisfactory.
c'mon girls, 13 in maindraw and left with just 6.
and the way Vera crashed out doesn't look too good even though she played Lena B.
