Just the kids' version.
At some point, I will have to make myself read it; the Qur'an as well.

Re: Have you ever read Bible?

I studied parts of it in high school for Philosophy. It's definitely a well written, interesting book (from an allegorical standpoint).

Pray tell, what is a "so-called Christian"?

Why?

You don't have to read it.

Besides, do you think your reading age will ever get above 8?

Absolutely. There's a lot of great literature and great religions/philosophies other than the western/Abrahamic perspective.

I love Homer-Virgil-Dante. But there is no comparison to Vyasa/Valmiki who did the Mahabharata/Ramayana double. The definition of epic.

I find it odd that any religious discussion on TF is almost exclusively from the Christian perspective. And yet they have the nerve to complain.

Pretty much this. Christians who don't know their own religion half as well as they should Although let's face it, almost all Christians pick and choose to an extent.

And in the UK especially, a lot of people call themselves Christians simply because they think they should, when in fact they practise no religion whatsoever.

What makes a Christian really "it"? While you're at it, what makes any person who claims a religion really "it"?

Well you are perfectly free to start a discussion from say the perspective of Islam. Why don't you?
