Charlize--awesome and my pick.
Swank-barf.
Ditherspoon--deserved it for Legally Blonde, did not like Walk the Line
Mirren-It was ok, but not my favorite
Cotillard-hate subtitles, haven't seen it.
Winslut-pretty good, the part where she adjusts his penis for anal penetration is a nice touch, but not my favorite
Buttocks-deserved it for Miss Congeniality, Blind Side was garbage
Portman-haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, but it's in my Netflix queue with I Dismember Mama and Season 2 of the Big C
Streep-it was very good, but not my favorite
Lawrence-haven't seen it, but likely will at some point.

My fave perf remains Winslet in Eternal Sunshine. Her loss to Swank that year is the biggest mistake in Oscars history

Of these, Charlize was the best imo. However, a part of me feels her drastic makeup did most of the heavy lifting in that performance. Haven't seen "La Vie en Rose" or "The Reader" but to be honest, none of these performances are spectacular . |

This might be a better place to talk about how you said that Marion isn’t very popular in France. That was the vibe I got when I was there also especially among my friends. My favourite French actress is Isabelle Adjani and I loved her most in Adèle H.
Also, I can’t believe you like Kate Winslet in that shameless Oscarbait which she even admitted herself. Great actress but won for a terrible role.
From the last decade, it is easily Natalie Portman. This will be the performance that will be remembered down the ages, like Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind. It’s iconic.

Yeah Winslet in that role made me  I mean she was so blatant about it being Oscar winning material.
Love Meryl in tons of films but can't bring myself to watch a film about the spawn of satan.
