Also, another worrying fact about her non clay finals (the 3 that she won out of 15) were Tokyo 2009 where JJ retired, Memphis 2010 vs Arvidsson and that Cincinnati nightmare in 2011 vs JJ as well

Judging by her records (and statistics do not lie  ) we will have to accept it and deal with it. She won't beat top notch players on HC. ...... now wathc her prove me wrong.

Well last year she beat all top 10 players on HC (apart from Serena obviously), but she just can't beat them when it counts (in finals) 
How does one go from bageling an in form Kerber and Li Na to winning 4 games in the final vs Azarenka is beyond me

To be fair she's only played eight tournaments since Paris, reaching 3 finals and 3 semis. Yeah it's disappointing but it's not like she's done nothing.

Seeing Petra win Dubai got me extra irritated today and it just magnifies how long it's been since Maria won. Kvitova had been AWOL since 2011 and, all of a sudden, she scares Serena and wins the next week. If she can put it together like that, then Maria certainly can and she'd better start soon.
All I need now to make me run out of the room screaming is Woz winning a title.
