Going into the hard court season with a title win must be a completely different feeling for Mona. As some others said she never seemed to be happier and more relieved after a title win than at Bastad.
Mona obviously should take a lot of confidence from it and hopefully in the deep of her heart she will not be too satisfied about this unexpected win.
Her schedule is not exactly packed in the next few weeks with qualis in Cincinati and New Haven (?). Most probably she will spend a lot of time on the practice court inbetween the tournaments. So everything is a little different compared to the previous seasons.
Hard court is a good surface for her but a different and more aggressiv style of play will be needed to be successful.
After all I`m carefully optimistic that the "new Mona" will be able to manage the transition and show up with some good results. We`ll see.

Her kind of special friends Putintseva and Beck shouldn`t cause to much of a problem. Mona clearly beat them both in their last encounters. Hard to say something about Oudin.
Under normal circumstances I´d say that`s a very doable draw for her.
