All scary chocices, but Iva could get through again to play another player in this group if the seeds hold up. Could another Patty vs Iva match happen again!?!?! Anything is possible of course, but I hope Iva can get far in this tourni!!!! Not the worst possibilities, but the draw can really help (or hurt)!!! Hopefully Iva avoids both Silvija and Jelena here....! I do and I don't want to see Iva play Iveta Benesova again...!!!! Good luck for a nice run here no matter who you play IVA!!!

Here, stince I have the free time today, are Iva's possible matches starting with the lowest ranked direct entry:

Asa Svensson - She beat Iva in the finals in Bol, but Iva was very tired after her marathon semifinal. Svensson also struggled for the rest of the season after being mutilated in the voodoo thread. Iva in two.

Silvija Talaja - I really hope Iva doesn't play Silvija because they are two of my favorites. Silvija usualy does really well at the begining of the year (her worst result is a QF at the Gold Coast two years ago) and it could be a tough match, but if Iva is on, she is the better player. Iva in three.

Fabiola Zuluaga - I remember her beating Iva once in 2000 or 2001, but that was a different Iva. Fabiola has struggled and should be an easy opponent for Iva. Iva in two easy sets.

Tatiana Garbin - I don't know much about Tatiana. I saw her beat Seles though, and she was on fire. Iva in two or three (i hope)

Jelena Kostanic - This match would be a nightmare for me. Two of my top 4 faves. They played twice in 2002. Iva won in a third set tiebreaker in Bol and lva beat her 7-5 7-6 somewhere else as well. Iva in two tight sets, but I hope this match doesn't happen before the finals .
