Interesting Fact: All #1 seeds won at the Australian Open
#1 Novak Djokovic - Men's Singles Champion
#1 Victoria Azarenka - Women's Singles Champion
#1 Bryan Brothers - Men's Doubles Champion
#1 Errani/Vinci - Women's Doubles Champion
All the talk about the trashy ranking system, well it got everything right this time , when was the last time this happened at a slam?

Re: Interesting Fact: All #1 seeds won at the Australian Open
On top of those 4 - The boys - Nick Kyrgios wasn't the number 1 seed, but he's now the number 1 in juniors after winning

Re: Interesting Fact: All #1 seeds won at the Australian Open
There's a similar thread on MTF, apparently it's only happened 4 times before, all at Wimbledon. So that's pretty special

Re: Interesting Fact: All #1 seeds won at the Australian Open
That's far from true
The Mixed Doubles, The Girls Singles, The Boys Singles and The Boys Doubles were all not won by the Top Seeds
I have no idea about Wheelchair but with Vergeer not playing I doubt the Top Seeds won in the Womens

When there are more players in Wheelchair and when the juniors tour is considered a professional tour then you will become relevant.
