Re: Maria in Pattaya
Amanmuradova 15-30 on her serve from 15-15 (previous point was an ace). Break Maria.

Re: Maria in Pattaya
Amanmuradova seems to think she's Serena on serve.

Re: Maria in Pattaya
Whew. Yay!!!!! Maria breaks for 7-5 2nd set at 40-30 from 40-15 (ace #10 there, the 2nd ace of the game). Good job Maria. The match was 1 hour 55 minutes long.

Indeed this is very likely. I remember I watched only her SF vs Cirstea last year.

Re: Maria in Pattaya
Kumkhum is next, she's ranked #155 and never played against Maria, I don't know her but as I see she reached R2 in 2013 AO beating Arvidsson in straight sets, so I guess she's not a bad player at all.
A loss still cannot be accepted, of course.

I do agree with you, losing isn't allowed
No, seriously, Kumkhum could be a dangerous opponent. She is young and she is climbing up the rankings. It's their first meeting as you said and she is a local player, which can be an advantage too...
Nevertheless, Kiri should win this, but she needs to stay focused and concentrated
I just checked the OOP, and she won't play tomorrow, so still a day to relax
Davai Maria!!!

I'd be so disappointed, she has everything to go deep in this tournament, or, why not, even winning it.
