AO13: So would you say the women's final was more enjoyable than the men's?

For those who watched, how would you rate the women's in comparison?

Women's final was so much better. They deserve more pay than men.

Yes, more drama

Although I prefer the men's end result

Re: AO13: So would you say the women's final was more enjoyable than the men's?

Yes, it was.

Not really for the quality of tennis, more for the drama behind it (and the fact I had a bet on it, and won). The men's tournament this year was way better than the women's though, overall.

Yes.

Although not because of quality of tennis.

Re: AO13: So would you say the women's final was more enjoyable than the men's?

Men's was more about tennis. Women's was more about drama and as usual the winner -not the one who played better.

so a match with 16 breaks in 3 sets - real tennis? I seriously doubt

Re: AO13: So would you say the women's final was more enjoyable than the men's?

After Djokovic's comeback against Wawrinka I knew no one was beating him here, Rafa could have given him a run for his money but even that is kinda laughable considering Novak beat him last year.

Women's final wasn't a NID final like the men's so it was better IMHO.

Re: AO13: So would you say the women's final was more enjoyable than the men's?

They were both not quality finals, but yes, the WTA final had more drama so it was more enjoyable. The match itself was poor and Murray-Djokovic play boring matches. Li and Murray were injured in their matches which meant the final set of both matches were more or less NID.

Slow HC's make for boring tennis.
