obviously they hadn't broke up... I think it's just because Lucie was still in Melbourne and she was gonna be too tired to play both singles and doubles after such a long flight... that's all. I'm sure they will keep playing together, no doubt.

Pretty much this. And MJMS is injured so it's clear Andi and Liezel were both in Paris and without a partner.

The way Hlavackova acted against the Japanese team last year in Melbourne puts her as a perfect match with Liezel. Frankly if she wasn't pretty everyone would have jumped on her a la Huber.
