No way in hell is Rebound Ace slower than Plexicushion.

Re: Should The Australian Open Change the Surface Due to Risk of Injuries?

The surface was changed from rebound ace to plexicusion to prevent injuries this Australian open was an unusually bad one for injuries this year. Li Na in the final was a great example of this.

Re: Should The Australian Open Change the Surface Due to Risk of Injuries?

AO should be held on clay or decoturf tbh

On top of Serena and Na's problems, Novak's had trouble with footing both tonight and against Wawrinka. Seems to be a bit sticky ...

Re: Should The Australian Open Change the Surface Due to Risk of Injuries?

No. It's the players fault if they don't prepare properly. The court is grippy so I don't know why every player doesn't wear ankle strapping
I personally don't and I play at Homebush on a regular basis and have had no problems

It's fine on what it is, Australian Open is suppose to be slow hardcourt and the US Open is suppose to be the fast hardcourt.

No please... I am happy as long as Na reaching the final. I won't mind if they put the final match on daytime, though.

It because of the shoes he uses. He said it during the Wawrinka interview that he shoes was very slippery.

Re: Should The Australian Open Change the Surface Due to Risk of Injuries?

I mean dont speed up the court because it's a characteristic for AO being a hard court slower than USO...
