I had gone on an errand before settling in for the second set, and when I came back it was over. 
Sveta and second sets 
Still, it's great to see her back.

Giving commercials for LMFAO in her interview. Pathetic! I blame Sam Smith.
Anyway, Sveta played so well in the first set. True she had too many errors, and if she had taken advantage of her opportunities should have won that set. Vika was determined and really bludgeoned the waning Sveta in the second. Good job for her. It would have been nice to see Sveta stick around, but maybe she can prepare for RG and get into the quarters or semis.

Don't forget though, this surface/tournament was never particularly good for Kuznetsova even at her peak.

Great first set!...very close and well contested by both players. Sveta's variety really threw Vika off until 4-5 when she stepped up and went for the set playing aggressively. Credit to her but oh dear..she needs to improve her first serve % otherwise Serena is gonna hava a field day.

The 1st set was good from both players, but Kuznetsova ran out of ideas and gas towards the end of the match. |

Sveta brilliant at times in the first set, but a good run after a long break. Hope you keep your motivation.
Also hope Serena takes good care of the freak show inAzarenka's player box
