I saw the interview this morning on British Eurosport. It was with Annabel Croft.
Hingis did agree with Annabel Croft that Radwanska has improved especially her 1st serve but she did say something like "she needs to at least win a Slam first before you compare us" - I knew there was gonna be a thread on GM about this!
She wasn't really that complimentary about Radwanska at all...

Really, when she says something like this it only feels that she's afraid of comparing her game to Aga's. Why else would she say she needs to win a slam? If Hingis considers herself so much better then slams don't matter, it's her game they're talking about.

Because she probably thinks that Hagatha isn't fit to shine her shoes, let alone being put in the same sentence as her when it comes to tennis talent?
Hingis is such a sour cow, but she usually gets it spot on when it comes to shading the tours biggest vultures.

I thought she likes being compared to Aga, not Caro.

Martina of late 2002 was out of shape, serve-less and could not hit the ball harder than a 12 year old. This coming from a Martina fan. Martina pre-2002 is the vintage Martina that should never be compared to Aga and would absolutely wipe the floor against the big hitters of today.

Serena has won slams between 1999 and 2012, Venus between 2000 and 2008. They dominated for years whereas Hingis won 3 of hers in one year and all between 1997-99. It could be like Hewitt who won a couple of slams between Sampras and Fed - Hingis won some between Graf and Williams sisters

At times, yes. She basically routined all the top 50 ranked power players (when she wasn't extremely injured, hence her defeats against the likes of Mirza a week after defeating them 6-1 6-0 ), and definitely didn't struggle against the top power players (Venus, Sharapova, Davenport)
