Hilarious. Even more so since they mention Azarenka is having more of a power game than Li.

The German ES commentator said something similar during the Görges match, that Na Li is not the most powerful, but known for her consistency. I guess that´s what watching too much Görges, Lisicki and Barthel can do to you. Na Li suddenly looks consistent and underpowered.

There is some (little) truth in that statement. Li's success is about point construction, not pure power. "Touch" however is not the first term coming to mind. She is playing 31K tension strings, heaviest next to Ljubicic and still spraying like a sprinkler.

The article uses the wrong words but does have a point in the sense that NaLi is not really a pure first-strike BBB player. She likes to play more like an ATP guy and consistently mix it up with repetitive powerful shots to find an opening (instead of only blasting one wacky winner the fist chance she gets - like JuGs and Kvitova & the rest)

No, but if she was consistent on that level, she´d have five Slams and 10 Slam finals, not 1 and 1.
