Icb bin ein wenig für Mona, aber eigentlich für die bessere von beiden. Das schlimmste was passieren kann, ist das Angie Mona mühsam niederringt und dann wieder Probleme hat und danach nicht weiter machen kann, bzw. nur halb Fit ist.

Denke auch das wird nach der Pause und der Verletzung sehr schwer werden, aber ich hoffe sie ist doch schon bei 100% und kann es irgendwie gewinnen. Aber denke nicht, dass sie schon wieder so lange trainiert hat.

Das was ich heute aus ihrem...ich nenne es mal "erweiterten Umfeld" gehört habe, ist ziemlich besorgniserregend. Grundlinienspiel soll voll gehen, aber bei Überkopfbällen( also auch Aufschlag) soll sie vor allem nach dem Training/Matches Schmerzen haben und eine große Besserung hat es bisher nicht gegeben.
Er war auf jeden Fall sehr überrascht, dass sie spielt.

Ist natürlich auch möglich, dass sie sich so gut wie möglich gesundspritzen lässt. Wenn es nur Schmerzen sind, kann sie dann vielleicht spielen.
Aber eine Verletzung zu ignorieren hat noch niemandem gut getan.

Sie bekäme 175 Punkte abgezogen, wenn sie hier nicht antreten würde. Spielt sie nur einen Ballwechsel, würde sie dagegen keine Punkte verlieren, da die Punkte aus Doha 2012 nicht zu den zählbaren Ergebnissen gehören.

Schwer zu sagen, es sieht aber auch ein blinder das Kerbers Spiel auf den Rücken geht, das sie überhaupt so lange fit war ist schon bemerkenswert.
Die anderen Mädels hätten sich bei der Spielweise schon 5 mal die Hachsen gebrochen.

Das ist bei Angie sowieso das größte Fragezeichen, wie lange hält ihr Körper? Sie hat ein enorm physisches Spiel, und es gibt genug Spielerinnen, die das nicht für immer durchgehalten haben.

Dann sollte man schauen, dass man mittelfristig eine andere Deutsche nach oben im Ranking bekommt.

So schafft man jedenfalls keine nachhaltigen Erfolge und nur das bringt das deutsche Tennis raus aus dem Nischendasein.

Mona will beat Angelique. No way Angelique is at 100 %. She probably came only to Doha for the money. Smart decision. It would have been stupid to skip Doha. Just tank and collect the pay cheque.

And I really hope Angelique retires immediately if she feels any pain during the match. No reason to make the injury more serious. Health is most important. Angelique better listen to her body.
