Stephens is such a fucking wimp as soon as a match gets close. She has athleticism and footspeed, but she can't stay near the baseline against any sort of power and her BH breaks down.

Keys has a bigger first serve, better BH, bigger game, more willingness/capability at net. The only thing Sloane has is that she's a better mover. Plus, Madison is two years younger.

Yeah, I love her but she's being massively overrated lately. I see her plateauing in the 15-20 range for a while. But she has the tools to be a great player eventually, so I wouldn't write her off completely. I honestly think that her FH could become one of the biggest weapons on tour if she learned how to use it better. I'd like to see her get a new coach, but it would probably look like an idiotic move since she's still rising up the rankings with Nainkin.

You can't really teach aggressive instincts or how a player applies their skill set to a match. You can make slight adjustments, but at the end of the day, if Sloane doesn't feel comfortable hitting bigger and closer to the baseline, she's not.
