Her Wimbledons 2010 matches over Kvitova, Sharapova and Li weren't easy yet many people picked that major.
I really think USO 2012 was a joke of a draw even though Serena didn't need it.

Dodging the question as usual.
Bringing everything to Maria as usual.
We all agree to say that Serena doesn't need them but I think she had quite easy ones, USO 2012 for example.

This. Ivanovic and Errani back-to-back in a slam.

Okay? For what it's worth USO 2012 is Serena's weakest draw en route to a slam win(not in terms of level of play, but then again anyone can play well when playing 6 of the 7 players she had to face there.) Even so, it edges out Sharapova's epic RG2012 where she played no one of note. Errani was a cakewalk for both, and regardless of the surface she was never going to take a set off of Serena or Sharapova. So what it really comes down to is Azarenka on outdoor hardcourts(which Maria is 0-4 against in 2012 IIRC), or Kvitova on red clay

good. But it's not about Maria's cakewalks but Serena's ones
And Maria is 0-3 against Vika in outdoor HC.

Anyway, at the ridiculous double-standards on display by the Willytards once again in this thread. When it comes to Maria's Slam runs, ONLY her opponents' rankings AT THE TIME count towards determining whether it was a cakewalk (for example, we always hear about how Errani was "outside the top 20" when Maria beat her, even though she would move into the top 10 2 days after that final). Yet, when it comes to Serena, even though only ONE of the FOURTEEN players Serena beat to win her slams in 2010 was in the top 10 at the time, suddenly the rankings don't matter and Stosur and Kvitova are billed as "future Slam champions" rather than the scrub and rank-and-file top 20er they were at the time. You couldn't make it up

the problem is that Razzano would have been considered a cakewalk for Sharapova if she had been in her 1R draw , because would have been beaten 6-1 6-3 by Pova. Errani is definitely a cakewalk , just because Pova beat her , but for Ivanovic, Kuzzy , Sam and Kerber this cake was too tough....
There were probably 2 players capable of beating Sharapova on red clay - Serena and Li Na, both were in Masha's half/quarter.... It's not Masha's problem that they sucked
Serena's draw at USO is different, because her half of draw was the weakest possible, nobody was even in delusional fantasies competitive vs Serena, while Masha's/Vika's half packed with all the contenders

I haven't seen anyone make this argument Like anyone takes the WTA ranking as gospel or the correct order of who the best players are. Errani is a cakewalk ranked 8 or 28
And FYI, I do consider Zvonareva on a similar level as Errani as a Slam final opponent

There's been plenty of Willytards lazily parrotting over the months that Maria "only beat one top 20 player" en route to her RG title (even though she beat 3 top 20 players pretty much, as even aside from Kvitova and Errani even Kanepi had already booked her place in the top 20 when Maria played her).

It's 4-1, not 4-0 or 3-0 in 2012.

This. Regardless of whether Errani was in the top 10 or not she has zero weapons to challenge a top level aggressive player on any surface. She would be considered a cakewalk even if she was ranked #1. OTOH Kvitova at Wimbledon was ranked low, but it's quite clear that even to this day she has few performances as impressive as her run there where she punchT #1 Wozniacki and Princess Vika out in about an hour each, and as Serena detractors love to go on about "outplayed Serena off the ground" . Poova in one of her best performances against Serena post-05, and Li Na who is always trouble for Serena are a solid supporting cast, and make her Wimbledon run a fairly solid one. Not great, but not a cakewalk in spite of a worthless finals opponent.

Re: Which was Serena's easiest road to a Slam title?
There is no easy road to a slam title. You faces in the later stages top players or players who beat them playing tennis of their life. Sometimes facing in a final for example someone like Schiavone could be tougher than facing Sharapova or Azarenka.
