We couldn`t watch it, but well...the scoreline tells a lot.

I don`t get why all these players (for instance also like Julia ) talk so early about having improved instead of simply holding themselve back until they have shown it on the court.

Still way, way to go for Mona.
Of course, she needs to improve her play in a defensive position, but first of all she has to find some confidence and consistency in her offensive game.
She actually has enough weapons to avoid and compensate defensive play especially against such opponents.

There will be some players who will pass her in this week. I expect a position between 41 and 45 after the AO. And she has more points to defend in the following weeks. She is simple too weak at Grand Slams. From the last 4 Grand Slams, she lost 3 times against a player outside the top 50.
