It looks like that, because her movement, grip, footwork on defense and the subsequent quick errors give the impression that she doesn´t care.

The truth is that Mona's game is really flawed and I don't think her offence is enough to hide the big holes in her game no matter how good her offence is. I even doubt she can be a consistent top 20 player with her current game. Of course no way in hell she becomes a top 10 player with her current game. That's for sure. She really needs to improve but I don't know how can she improve without a full-time coach.
Anyway, let's hope she makes the top 20 at least this year. Playing some MM events would help I guess.

Yes, please get your optimism back! We cannot demand a more appropriate on-court attitude from Mona if we start getting negative ourselves after just one loss which happened in a final (!) after two successful weeks.

Me too, she's too sweet, you just can't love her.  It's ok to be upset and angry when one of your faves loses badly, it happens to me too, it just shows you care much

Really good post and a bit sad too, but this is what I think about her situation. I'm only hope she won't be huge underachiever because of lack full-time coach. I think she need some big wins too. Last year she lost matches against Azarenka or Radwanska in 3 sets battles.

Ok that sounds much better. The first time i saw her was two and a half years ago. At that time she was nearly completely under the radar of the german tennis association. So you can maybe imagine how much she must have improved her game since then in order to become a TOP 40 player nearly beating the big babes on tour. I am quite sure without a doubt that she will continue to develop her game in the upcoming years. And i think she is wise enough to know when it is the right time to start travelling with a permanent coach.
