One of my favourite screen actors EVER. Silence of the Lambs is my 2nd favourite film after La Reine Margot, and Jodie gave the best performance I have ever seen in my opinion.
But Jodie came out several years ago when she introduced and thanked Sydney (sp?) at a premiere in I think it was Germany? So it isn't really news, but bravo to her for her very dignified and lustrous career - and proving with all her box office hits that no one really cares about sexuality when you have that much talent.

Her speech was a bit awkward (took TOO long to get to the point). Well at least she did it at the end.

Also, her dress was very distracting. The straps reminded me of the seaweed you use to wrap sushi. Not a fan.

Anyway, I thought it was an awful rambling speech. "Oh, so I'm coming out", "but only sort of", "well, you guys know anyway", "or at least, the people who should know really know", "privacy is really important", "life as a celebrity is tough", blah blah blah
I was like, just do it already or not at all.
