Queen Aggie, Serena and Li Na create history- Greatest 3 tournament week of top 10
BRISBANE, SHENZHEN & AUCKLAND - Since the inception of computer rankings in 1975, there have been 48 three-tournament weeks on the WTA, but the one that just went by was a step above the rest - it was the first three-tournament week where all three champions were ranked inside the Top 10:
Week of December 31, 2012
Brisbane champion: World No.3 Serena Williams
Shenzhen champion: World No.7 Li Na
Auckland champion: World No.4 Agnieszka Radwanska
Only five other times in the 47 other three-tournament weeks were all three champions either current, former or future Top 10 players:
Week of February 11, 1991
Chicago champion: Martina Navratilova (current)
Aurora champion: Lori McNeil (former)
Linz champion: Manuela Maleeva-Fragničre (former/future)
Week of February 19, 2001
Dubai champion: Martina Hingis (current)
Oklahoma City champion: Monica Seles (current)
Bogotá champion: Paola Suárez (future)
Week of September 27, 2004
Hasselt champion: Elena Dementieva (current)
Guangzhou champion: Li Na (future)
Seoul champion: Maria Sharapova (current)
Week of February 14, 2005
Antwerp champion: Amélie Mauresmo (current)
Memphis champion: Vera Zvonareva (former/future)
Bogotá champion: Flavia Pennetta (future)
Week of February 25, 2008
Dubai champion: Elena Dementieva (former/future)
Memphis champion: Lindsay Davenport (former)
Acapulco champion: Flavia Pennetta (future)
Congratulations for the real TOP 3 of tennis, who show us something more than mindless ballbashing a'la Kvikova/Whooparenka/Screamoutova trio, strength, technique and athleticism
History makers

I don't think that tournaments without Serena/Masha/Vika in the draw are that relevent to put them on the same scales with Brisbane Why don't you add challangers and itf tournaments?

So Radwanska and Li get rewarded for fearing Serena and catering to $$$$$$.

Sometimes I wonder if the OP is an Aga hater in disguise.

Well, Li had to play Shenzhen as it was in China.
Radwanska exposed herself when she played Auckland while 8 top ten players were schedule to battle it out in Brisbane.
Her title has very little value.

Why did Na have to play? That's like saying Wozniacki has to play Copenhagen; she's not forced to, she chooses to. She's a grown woman, she makes decisions for herself

Second biggest tennis story in 2013 following Empress's stunning 1-1 start to the season.

Come on.
It isn't well seen to support a foreign tournament when you can play in your home country.
There's a also a strong possibility than all her sponsors wrote in her contracts that she has to play in China as most as possible.

It woud seem supportive but it should be her decision to play. For example, I doubt Radwanska is losing too much sleep over not being able to play her home tournament
