So because it "can be" we are to assume what? Everyone is guilty until proven otherwise? Or even then not so because as with Andre things can be covered up for superstars? I understand what you are saying, I just dislike the territory it can be leading into. Shoot first and ask questions later.

I agree that it's wrong if someone starts throwing names around without evidence.

But it would be for the long term future of tennis to introduce more stringent testing procedures. If everyone is clean then thats great news. If not then it has to be purged from the sport. Either way a comprehensive testing policy is essential in sport.

I agree. I just hope that it would be done without casting aspersions based on assumptions at best. Or malicious motives at worst, before hand.

Apparently Oprah brought 112 questions and the interview lasted nearly 3 hrs The first half airs 9pm ( ET/PT ) Thursday night on Own, while also being live streamed on Oprah.com. Should be very interesting!

The man is admiting to doping, the only big question remaining to ask is why he did what did, betraying the confidence of so many friends, families, charitable organization, and letting down the country and US cycling he professes to represent.
As I wrote in another post, if anyone wants to see a public flogging or prosecution or humiliation, then don't watch Oprah.

My guess is it will fades and die as the fund rasing slowly dries up without his trong personality.

For good or bad, now for bad, he was really a one man powerhouse. Charming potential sponsors, intimadating potential enemies.

Well, it's not about my preference. He should have followed his judgement, say by arranging a live UCI/USADA press meet. IMO Oprah is irrelevant to Cycling. If yes, then why not Peirs Morgan? Perhaps he might be scared about getting called once again as 'Sexist, Misogynist Pig!' Fun aside, this move shows Lance is onto a little more 'public sympathy' factor?

Ha! He admitted after relentless USADA persecution. I must confess that initially I was doubtful and didn't believe them; later they gone public with evidence files.
