I wouldn't write Peer's career off just yet, remember everyone thought AMG was done a couple of years ago as she had a horror run of results, but she found a way back to the top echelons of the game. Although you would think something needs to change if she's going to snap out of this.

Never really like those kind of threads and I must say at the time I rather thought voting a player who had two substantial periods in the top 15 the worst player in the top 100 was rather unjust, and simply put it down to the slump she showed last combined with her unpopularity amongst a fair portion of this forum.
But I got to say, right now at this time, she probably IS playing the worst tennis of anyone in the top 100.

Very true. And I have to admit I was one of those who couldn't see AMG coming back into a competitive top 50 form. But she certainly did so, and although a cliche it is one that keeps being reaffirmed, you can never write off the career of a decent tennis player while they are still competing on a weekly basis providing they are still reasonable young and healthy. But as you say, Peer is going to have to change something because while, as you say, there is no guarantee that her career is going down the tubes, there is no guarantee that it isn't either. What happens from here on will be down to how hard she is prepared to work.
