Thanks

I ,hereby, take an oath that I would bow down before the Prince ss and proclaim myself to be his official guardian or rather slave (if he wishes) from now on, provided that his magical winning streak extends for the third straight time

I agree. Sloane did even better than you would think from the scoreline.

I would be pissed, but only because that would mean Vika got a win against Rena before Maria Ironically, I like Aza more than Rena by a long margin. How you alter my perspective Maria Plus, I'm pretty sure that if Vika beats Sarin here it would be because of Rena tanking, which of course she never does against Maria

i also think that if Serena comes across fierce resistance coming from Aza, she might tank this match just not to make unneccessary efforts before main event
of course Serena will play always "slam final" versus Masha, it's never in doubt....
But Aza is so mediocre that Serena might win it on autopilot

Quite the contrary. There's a thread at GM where they say that Vika is 'injured' and won't play.

Re: AO 2013: The Bridesmaid-Bride Double. The Sequel.
Just woke up to to see the match and I heard this. WTF. This tournament has been a disaster
Even if I don't like her anymore I hope Vika is alright and it's nothing serious for the AO... I'm bummed about not seeing them play, it was the real final

Well apparently, they were right I wanna believe Vika's injury is legit, but it's just too hard

Re: AO 2013: The Bridesmaid-Bride Double. The Sequel.
This is from BBC News.........I had not heard of anything like this before......
Victoria Azarenka blames bad pedicure for Brisbane withdrawal
World number one Victoria Azarenka has blamed a bad pedicure for forcing her out of her Brisbane International semi-final against American Serena Williams.
The Belarusian said she could not risk aggravating an infected big toe ahead of the defence of her Australian Open title, which starts on 14 January.
"It just got infected from a bad pedicure experience. I had somebody who gave me infection," said Azarenka, 23.
"The doctor said it happens a lot. [It's] never happened to me [before].
She added: "It's something that I am definitely going to prevent for the next time."
