I'm expecting her to be a mess tonight  I know she started off on fire without any matches at the AO last year, but normally she does tend to need 1 or 2 matches to really find her range. As long as she gets it done in straights today then I'll be happy, even if it's a scrappy 6-4 6-3 or something.

I'm probably not staying up past Maria's match either. Most matches I want to watch start first anyway so I'll see at least some of Maria's, Venus's and Julia's.

I don't get why so many people are nervous. Putchkova is as useless as it gets Maria wont lose more than 4-6 games. |

Just checked Puchkova's Wiki, apparently she once managed to get up to #32 in the world  I literally do not remember that at all.

People on this board tend to get nervous everytime Maria plays. Even before she plays. I think even if she just hits the ball against the wall.
