I just saw this girl got a WC into the qualifying for Washington. She's only 14!

Does anyone know anything about her? Does she train in the US? It was such a pleasant surprise seeing her name in the draw.

I know nothing about her but want her to win more than anything. Hahaha Pame Valentini

But she got her first WTA point

She must train in the United States. After all, she is one of Greece's most promising female players EVER, and is among the best U14 girls in the world, just a little behind Bencic, Ostapenko, Rychagova, Nefedova, and Konjuh . I think she has top 20 potential and I'm not joking at all

Η Βαλεντίνη Γραμματικοπούλου έκανε χτες ένα μεγάλο μακροβούτι στη μέχρι τώρα τενιστική της σταδιοδρομία, λαμβάνοντας μέρος στα προκριματικά του Citi Open, τουρνουά $220,000 της WTA που διεξάγεται στην Washinghton και στάθηκε αρκετά καλά σε αγώνα που τελικά ηττήθηκε. Η 14χρονη Ελληνίδα αθλήτρια αντιμετώπισε την 11 χρόνια μεγαλύτερή της Αμερικανίδα Whitney Jones και στάθηκε αρκετά καλά, έχοντας μάλιστα 7 ευκαιρίες για break, από τις οποίες αξιοποίησε μόν τη μία γνωρίζοντας την ήττα με 6-2, 6-2 σε ένα παιχνίδι - εμπειρία για την Βαλεντίνη που διήρκησε 1 ώρα και 10 λεπτά και κάτω από αφόρητη ζέστη.

Στο ίδιο τουρνουά θα λάβει μέρος στο κυρίως ταμπλό και η Λένα Δανιηλίδου, η οποία θα αντιμετωπίσει στον 1ο γύρο την Βρετανή Heather Watson, ενώ στα διπλά με συμπαίκτρια την Ιταλίδα Alberta Brianti θα αναμετρηθούν με τις Craybas και Czink.

Some biographical info about her-All I really know is that she's from Zakynthos island and she still lives there, but she probably recently moved to an American academy somewhere in Florida since she played in Washington DC

No info about the injury, but Cisneros is ITF #164 so it's amazing to see how she is beating players like that at just 14 years old

I really hope this girl is good. Those are great results, so sad to have to pull out of a final after being a set and a break up.
