Clay and the clay tournaments are beautiful. Yay can't wait for Roland Garros.

it's clearly one of the worst parts of the season. other than the crappy indoor-fall season. definition of butch.

Hell no Its the worse part of the season IMO. My fav doesnt play well on this surface and the matches are usual poor in quality. Give me the grass and hard courts anyday.

Re: Does anyone else completely ADORE the red clay season?
Love the look of claycourts and I love watching tennis being played on the surface. RO use to be my fav slam but year after year of horrid crowds just turned me off to the slam. I like the claycourt season wouldn't say I adore it. The US hardcourt season is my fav part of the year.

That's because alot of today's geenration don't know how to rally.
Arantxa, Conchita, Hingis, Pierce, Graf, Seles, Capriati, sooo much fun to watch on the red dirt!

Re: Does anyone else completely ADORE the red clay season?
It's hands-down the absolute worst part of the season for the WTA. I dont even think there's any possible argument against that.

I did used to enjoy it a great deal back in the day 5 to 10 years ago but its not the same anymore especially seeing Henin has left.

Re: Does anyone else completely ADORE the red clay season?
I like how tennis seems more natural when it's played on clay. It sounds silly, but I guess what I mean is that clay and grass have so much more tradition then hardcourt.
