I don`t really care but if she should get a WC anyway - why does Barty play/ they let her participate of all things at this playoff ? 
Embarrassing and also unfair to the other players. |

There's more than one WC for the Australian girls for their home slam.
I think they still want to test their junior players and make them "earn it" but there's also a safety net because of her ranking.

Like I said in her thread, they shouldn't give her a WC and instead make her play qualies. She's had enough chances already.

She improved 500 spots in the ranking this year, won four challengers, reached two challenger finals...who else should they be giving it to? Even though she had wild cards at three of the four Grand Slams, her draws weren't exactly stellar with Kvitova at the French and Vinci at Wimbledon.

From the bit I saw Barty seemed bothered with an injury, her thigh was quite taped and she was doing way more mistakes than usual. Anyway, Barty is the most deserving Australian to get a WC so I'm sure she'll get one. She'd deserve one before Rogowska. Yes, she's had many GS WC but she has always earned them. She's only 60 places behind Rogowska but Barty played 17 less tournaments lol.

Exactly. No Australian girl deserves one more. I can understand that people are annoyed that someone her age has already had so many chances, but she's deserved them
