Gibt es bei einem Sieg direkt ein Ranking, oder wie muss ich das verstehen? Ansonsten doch Punkte bei drei verschiedenen Turnieren? Oder wie ist die Regel da genau?

Entweder mindestens 10 Punkte bei einem oder 2 Turnieren oder ansonsten 3 Turniere, wo man mindestens einen Punkt holt.
Das ist ihr 2. Turnier in der Wertung, also würde sie nur mit mehr als 10 Punkten ein Ranking bekommen. Derzeit hat sie 5 Punkte. Für mehr als 10 Punkte bräuchte sie schon den Titel.

Ist auf jeden Fall erfreulich, dass es außer den Morderger-Zwilligen langsam noch mehr junge deutsche Spielerinnen aus dem Jahrgang 1997 gibt, die auf sich aufmerksam machen. Ponomar ist knapp 2 Monate jünger als die Mordergers.

So sieht es aktuell mit den Punkten bei den deutschen Spielerinnen der Jahrgänge 1996 und jünger aus (Stand mit den Punkten von dieser Woche):

Naja, Pfizenmaier war zwar damals älter aber sie hatte vor ihrem großen Aufstieg damals auch keinen so großen Erfahrungsschatz. Und wieviele Spielerinnen sind leider trotz großer Erfahrung und Talent in den Ansätzen stecken geblieben, ein Paradebeispiel ist da Marlene Weingärtner, die hatte so viel drauf und hat nie den richtigen Durchbruch geschafft, obwohl zwischendurch tolle Siege dabei waren.

Damit hat Lisa Ponomar nach dem Turnier von Indian Wells zum ersten Mal ein WTA-Ranking und wird nach Lisa Matviyenko die zweitjüngste Deutsche sein, die dann im WTA-Ranking stehen wird.
