I don't know someone eralier in the thread said Sharapova was playing well at the Olympics 2012 and so for some reason I though Griffin was laughing at that. I'm under the impression that you think this is a really big deal.

I agree about Maria playing at her peak in YEC2007 but still lost to Peak Henin.
One of the best YEC finals if not the best ever.

Henin owns Serena on clay and she's backed up that FO title with 3 more consecutive titles. Serena has now had plenty of chances to get a second FO title now that Henin is gone and has failed on each occasion.

Dementieva played much better in her '05 QF Filderstadt match vs Clijsters than in the Wimby SF of '09. People actually forget when Dementieva's actual 'peak' was.
