Teli has said me on twitter that she is going to play Cali, Bogota and Florianopolis. She will take one WC for sure. Perhaps Laura Pigossi and Bia Maia will get too.
They could invite a top 20 player to come....

if this tournament were played in são paulo ou rio it would be much easier to get a top 10 player...now they're desperately trying to get someone from top 20

It's tough for her to move the United States from KL.
She isn't in main draw at Indian Wells.
And she isn't good at KL's court.

Three tournaments this week but pretty much all my faves chose to play in Brazil. Good choice for them and needless to say, regardless of rankings I think Florianopolis has put together a hell of a lineup. I am very jealous of everyone who is going to this tournament.
