Preview of tournament in singles - Second round (Tuesday)

First day of tournament is behind us.
It was very difficult stage to survive because order of play was extremly difficult filled with unknown players and icing on the cake was ITF website being unavailable.
So casualties included first seed cswab22, forth seed mateusz2904, sixth seed Dementieva_Dude and seventh seed buji leaving us with only 3 seeded players left in the tournament.

Let's check what we have in store for tomorow:

fallansky (POL) vs. Vincey! (CAN) H2H = 0 : 0
fallansky ranked 143 versus Vincey!, Phoenix 75K champion, ranked 81.
This will be their first meeting so it's hard to predict anything.
Vincey! is ranked 62 places above so he should be clear favorite and also he is in good form recently winning Phoenix 75K CH.
However fallansky managed to upset first seed and top 10 player cswab in the first round so he will hope to have momentum on his side.
After losses in first round of last 4 tournaments this is finaly a great start.
Who will handle this demanding order of play better and reach quarterfinals remains to be seen!

lizzard11120, WTA Bad Gastein champion, ranked 97 against wikuch, Santiago 25K and Phuket 25K champion, ranked 100.
What a great comeback tournament for lizzard11120.
Australian played last time at the end of September when he lost in qualifying of WTA Tokyo. Here he was a bit lucky to get in as alternate following withdrawal of SAISAI-GOAT and drawing the lowest ranked player in the first round matthias.
Here is where luck ends because wikuch leads H2H 2-0 winning their matches at AO and Kurume 50K challenger this year.
Also wikuch is in fantastic form winning Santiago 25K challenger last week.
Winning this match would be his 7th win in a row.

KingDocy (GER) vs. delicatecutter (FRA) H2H = 0 : 0
KingDocy, winner of Clermond-Ferrand 25K challenger ranked 164 against delicatecutter ranked 105, semifinalist of WTA Brussels this year.
German played his first pro tournament in September this year securing a title in his second ever TT tournament played in above mentioned challanger.
delicatecutter is more established at WTA level so it could be disadvantage in this case.
In last 4 tournaments he only managed to get 1 win so he will try to improve right here, right now.

igralec33 (SLO) vs. Phil=) (GER) H2H = 1 : 1
igralec33, WTA Brisbane finalist ranked 54 versus Phil=), WTA Copenhagen semifinalist ranked 92.
W/L records in last 4 tournaments iare 3/4 for Phil=) and 7/4 for igralec33 so obviously Slovenian can be considered favorite not just because of better ranking.
Phil=) upset 4th seed mateusz2904 in the first round and also won last match vs igralec33 at US Open this year.
Who will take the upper hand in this match up at the end of the season?
Soon we will find out!

(3) AdeyC (GBR) vs. Monzanator (POL) H2H = 1 : 1
Third seed AdeyC, WTA New Haven champion and Wimbledon semifinalist ranked 14 against Monzanator ranked 70, WTA Tashkent champion.
One of remaining stars of Potchefstroom AdeyC has had an amazing year with some great results which made his ranking jump up so winning his first WTA title in New Haven was great reward.
Monzanator had solid season highlighted with Tashkent title, also his first WTA title in career.
They have met already this year in R16 of Indian Wells when AdeyC won.
AGain it's interesting to see who will lead H2H after this tournament, who has more motivation at the end of season?

coolfish1103 (USA) vs. Hidalgo (RUS) H2H = 0 : 0[
coolfish1103 ranked 123 versus Hidalgo ranked 134.
Newcommer Hidalgo joined TT circuit in August this year and so far accumulated decent results. Beating 6th seed Dementieva_Dude in the first round was excellent start here. coolfish1103 is finishing his career first full TT season but has no tournament wins.
He will be pleased if he could achieve it in last few tournaments of 2012, maybe already here.

(8) Djezonfly (FRA) vs. flareon (GBR) H2H = 1 : 0
8th seed Djezonfly, WTA Dallas champion ranked 51 versus flareon ranked 130.
French player is clear favorite in this match considering this year's results and ranking.
Nothing but win would satisfied him here as he would like to end year in top 50.
flareon is in solid form in last few tournaments so he can hope to use this tough OOP and try to make upset happen.
Only match these two played was in first round of Grenoble 25K challenger 2011.

hessie (AUS) vs. (2) Meelis (EST) H2H = 1 : 2
hessie ranked 112 against second seed Meelis, Olympic silver medalist and French Open quarterfinalist ranked 10.
Tough draw for hessie after confortable win in first round.
Playing against TT veteran and biggest star of this tournament certainly won't be easy.
Current form is not the best but good thing is that hessie has already beaten Meelis this year so he will know that he can do it again.
Meelis on the other hand is in excellent form in both singles and doubles.
He had great season yet again finishing in top 10 and this tournament he plays for fun.
He will surely want to make this H2H clearer in his favour than it is now.

Another fun day tomorow with 16 tough matches in order of play so there is enough room for lucky wins. Everyone is in danger of losing.
