She says she will be number 1 one day, saying it's not a dream but a goal she has well marked. Surprising and refreshing to see such confidence from a Latin American youngster!

She was the number 1 South American junior in 14s (2010) and 16s (2011), just started playing pro tournaments from September 2012 onwards.

Already won a $10K in Paraguay, already beat Maria Irigoyen 6-3 6-3 recently and has two big sponsors.

Describes her game as "attack and power".

She's playing $25K Santiago this week. She made it through qualifying and plays Daniela Seguel (CHI) in the first round.

Saying she wants to be #1 is very ambitious but I like it that she aims high. Maybe it'll happen one day.
