1)Player should have won Slams,(Olympic Gold, WTA Championships)at least one or achieve her best results after 1 January 2000

2)Ranking should be made "considering the entire career of the players and not just the part from 2000 onwards".

the reason why I have Kvitova and Azarneka over 2 time slam champs like Pierce and Svetlana is because they have much more time on their hands to nab that second slam, and outside of that one slam they have already eclipsed Pierce and Svetlana (more YEC/T1 titles, similar number of overall titles, similar peak career high rank, similar number of slam SFs; all this when their career has JUST begun and Sveta and Pierce are done)

Hingis is valid in this poll because of her WTA Championships title in 2000, i added it to original criterias

Pierce won a slam and reached 2 more slam finals in the 2000's.

probably you are right , but even such young girl as Wozniacki(player of 10s) played with Hingis)). As for Pierce her 2005 was pretty good , much better than any year of some players in top 20

it's OK with Hingis . She won Championships in 00s, so she is valid in this top 20
