AO R1 2013 Misaki Doi d. Petra Martic, 6-3, 6-4
Martic appeared to have an injury. She had the trainer tape her thigh above the knee in the second set.
Great win for Doi. Misaki had great crowd support.  |

Maria lucked out with this one, she would have had a much tougher time against Martic. Congrats though Misaki!

Petra seemed to be injured, not moving well at all, spraying groundies left and right.
I don't see Misaki really giving her a fight, but who knows 
If Doi stayed well with the Martic serve, Maria would probably destroy it.

I honestly don't see what's the big deal about Martic. I've seen her play at IW and she was a scrambler - this has not changed. She needs to work on fitness and gain more muscle mass if she wants to compete with the top.
